December has arrived! Florida winter is living up to its reputation plenty of sunshine and beautiful weather.The moderate temperatures and light winds have made fishing pleasant. Water clarity has been great, migratory fish like blue fish, mackerel, pompano and jacks are all prevalent, striking Doa 3” shad tails worked throughout the water column. With big schools of fish hanging near channels, anglers can expect nonstop action once you locate the schools.Snook fishing continues to thrive along mangrove shorelines and seawalls. Snook are striking rapala X raps and Doa 4 inch jerk baits. Both sides of the tides produce fish. Anglers are catching fat snook and common predominantly, with a few sword spine in the mix.Bottom fishing targeting rock piles, channel edges and sea walls, great areas to take kids to wrangle a plethora of species.
