Marching into spring! Warm weather and great conditions has produced great fishing the past week. Anglers are enjoying the Florida sunshine and drag screaming action. Snook fishing has been excellent the past week, anglers are enjoying multiple species of snook using live bait and artificial lures. Targeting mangrove, shorelines and structured areas snook are lurking ambushing baits, as they push through with the current. Daytime or nighttime the snook are producing great action.The water temperatures on the rise, the tarpon bite has started to heat up. Tarpon are lurking near channel edges striking live bait on both sides of the tide. Targeting Silver Kings during the day with live bait has been a blast, but anglers have also enjoyed fly fishing for them at night time. The warmer weather should keep the silver kings striking! Family fun in the sun, snapper, drum, jacks, grunts, ladyfish, bluefish, and many other species are willing to put a bend in the rod.
