Lake Guntersville continues to move closer to a true summer pattern, but the fish still haven’t completely settled in.This past week was mixed. Some days produced quality fish, while other days required a lot more patience. One trend we are seeing across the lake is bass starting to group up better than they were just a couple weeks ago. Most mornings have featured an early flurry of bites, followed by a lull, and then another feeding window later in the morning. In many cases, the better fish have actually been showing up after that slower period.One thing that has been especially interesting is how different patterns are producing fish right now. Some of our guides are catching bass consistently on moving baits, while others are still doing best with slower presentations like soft plastics and jigs.
