LAKE SINCLAIR IS FULL, 75 DEGREES, LIGHT STAIN UP RIVER, MAIN LAKE CLEAR
Bass fishing is good and fall fishing is finally here. The water temperature has dipped down into the mid 70s and the shad are rushing towards the backs of the creeks. Covering a lot of water is best this time of year when looking to catch a lot of fish. Any reaction bait can produce on any given day so make sure you try all your favorite moving baits. Kip Carter’s Bass Hound square bill crank bait is producing a lot of bites bouncing it off wood cover all over the lake. A Lucky Craft Sammy and Zman Jerk Shad have been good on the lower lake creeks with clearer water. Fish all the points in the creek as they all can hold fish. The Alabama rig is starting to become productive again. This bait will always be good in the fall as it resembles a school of baitfish. Throw this bait across the points and around docks. The best bait for big fish right now has been a Buckeye Lures Mop Jig in green pumpkin color. Flip this bait around blow downs, docks with brush, and grass beds for an opportunity at a big bite. I have a few guide trips still available this month after October 20th. Give me a call if you are looking for some fun fishing this fall.
