Bass fishing is fair and it is tome for the Carolina rigs and lizards as well as jigs in all brown are the best baits. The river fish seem to be a little more active and small Bandit crank baits in crawfish and red colors are fair. Be sure to tick the cover with the crank baits and keep the jigs ready and use them anywhere on the river system. Also down lake use a shad or pearl Shad Raps and Bill Norman's crank baits on the points. Up river cast jigs and larger u tail worms into any wood on the banks. Cast to the grass beds with Zoom trick worms on Texas rig. Up the river the fishing has been fair and spinner baits on points in the creeks will draw strikes.
