JACKSON LAKE IS .DOWN 2.2 FEET, CLEAR & 73 DEGREES
Bass fishing is fair up the rivers and stick with the docks and be sure to throw your top water baits early. The Chug Bugs are still taking some good fish as well as other tip water baits during the day. The docks and the lay downs are a good place to fish early and try different retrieves on each. Plastics like the Zoom u tail worms rigged Texas style is a good technique to use. Find the wood and fish it thoroughly. Down the lake seems to be a favorite spot for those anglers looking for one good bite. Most of the larger bass are coming from this area but be prepared for a hard day of fishing if you head this way. Finesse worms along with spinner baits with white blades are working. The secret is to fish the deep water cove just to the right of river at the river bends. With the cold fronts moving is, take along some Thunder Sticks to throw on the right hand side in where the rocks are.
