LAKE ALLATOONA IS FULL, CLEAR & 79 DEGREES
Bass fishing is fair. The 2 pounders are hitting fairly well. We are still waffling back and forth between the main lake and just inside the creeks a bit. The shad are making there way back into the creeks and the bass are following. Big swim baits are the ticket right now for the bigger fish. Senko fish are also starting to pick up but we haven’t' dedicated a lot of time to it as of late but when we do we are catching fish. Keep going into the creeks, the key is finding out just how far into the creeks they fish are. Then duplicate those patterns in the other creeks. Keep the Zoom Super Fluke in pearl ready and use it all day.

Line side fishing is fair. With the cold nights the water temperature should get down below 70 and then its line side time. The lake is in turn over, so it’s time to start pulling flat lines and planner boards early morning and late afternoon. The north end of the lake is your best bet if you want to catch a big fish. Little River up to Fields Landing has been producing some decent fish. The numbers are low but the quality of fish is decent. The bigger schools of hybrids and white bass are mid lake. Kellogg's Creek to Stamp Creek has been producing decent numbers of small hybrids and white bass the last two weeks. Threadfin shad on down rods at depths of 30 to 40 feet deep 1/3 of the way back in the major creeks can produce some numbers. Trolling the umbrella rigs in the river channels during mid day is fair. In the morning, pull single buck tails in water less than 20 feet deep. This includes shallow humps and out in open water. Keep the Lowrance set up on a three way panel with sonar and left and right imaging on at all times.
