LAKE SINCLAIR IS FULL, 69 DEGREES, LIGHT STAIN UP RIVER
Bass fishing is good. Cool weather and cool water temperatures have the fish moving shallow in the creeks following the shad and bream. This is a great time of year to catch large numbers of bass as they are actively feeding most of the day. Top water baits, lipless crank baits, and Buckeye spinner baits are all catching numbers of fish right now. White has been the best color for all three of these baits. Put the trolling motor on high and cover a lot of water using these baits in the creeks. Look for bait fish activity on the surface or on your Lowrance electronics and focus your efforts where the most bait fish are. Midday when the sun is out, spend your time fishing docks and brush piles. A Buckeye spot remover with a green pumpkin Zoom trick worm will get a lot of bites under the docks. Fishing is good all over the lake right now, but the bite is most consistent from Rooty Creek up to Crooked Creek. I have guide trips available this week.
