LAKE SEMINOLE IS DOWN ONE FOOT, STAINED & 72 DEGREES
Bass fishing is fair. The grass is really starting to die back and there are some big bass coming out their hiding spots. The true edge of the grass lines now are getting hard to see, so that means you can actually fish over the tops of the hydrilla and coontail. All the main lake grass is doing this, so just concentrate on the points and pockets in the grass and throw a lipless crank bait on fluorocarbon or light braid. A Spro Aruku Shad in Old Glory or Mudbug Red is hard to beat when fished with 20 pound test Sunline FC Sniper fluorocarbon or 30 pound test Sunline FX2 Braid. Once you find an area with fish, then you can slow down with a Spro McStick Suspending Jerk bait. The colder the weather gets, the better this bite will get. If it gets extremely cold, then you can slow down even more with a Carolina Rigged 8" Finesse Worm by Big Bite Baits. Make sure you mark these areas with your Lowrance Units because the grass is changing so fast.
