LAKE GEORGE IS FULL, 65 DEGREES
Bass fishing is slow and the cold fronts rolling through mean it is time to get out the spoons and head to the deeper water. Using the Lowrance technology, anglers are finding more off show fish that rarely see a lure, especially in the colder months. Slow presentations have been the trick to get any kind of a strike. Try dark jigs rigged with a Senko twin tail trailer and work around any structure or try slow cranking a big lipped lure. A small worm on a shaky head worked very slowly might get a few finesse bites. Redbug and gold have been good soft plastic color choices. The deeper bite has been off and on. Jigs and spoons are best early and then get the Bandit 200 crank baits in shad and bream patterns out.
