Shadowed banks and sun blasted banks have been producing fish recently. Which is odd for me, in the past shadowed banks were my favorite choice but as the fish move, I gotta move with them to keep catching them. I was fishing swimbaits, float and fly, tail spinners and jigs. But the fish seem to prefer the tail spinner and then jig with a close second place. After only a few swim bait fish and zero boated fish on the fly. I have stuck with the tailspinners and jigs. The cooler temperatures in December should bring on some wonderful fishing, so get out your hand warmers and thermos. Pick up the phone and call Horsecreek Resort to get the most affordable room on Ole Dale Hollow. And don't forget to bring your fishing buddy and a life jacket you can wear all day while fishing. Trust me its cold when you fall in and near impossible to lift a wet person with full winter gear on into the boat. Watch out for the early morning fog, please idle through it. Don't be like the fool that flew past me in a white out the other morning. GPS will show you lots of stuff on the water, even the shore line but it won't show you other boats stuck in the same patch of fog as you. Please email any and all questions.
