JACKSON LAKE IS FULL, STAINED AND 50 DEGREES

Bass fishing is slow. Fish the points on the right hand side of the lake if you are heading towards the dam. The river channel comes real close to this large rounded point and there is plenty of structure on the channel ledge. Rig one Zoom green pumpkin finesse worm on a Carolina rig and one on a Texas rig. Smoke and pearl are the color of choices here. The Rapala DT10 will work with a slow stop and go retrieve and use either the silver or shad color. Hot mustard works well after a lot of rain and the water stains up. Work the ledges just off main lake points and work it slowly. Other areas where the channel makes a sharp turn at or near a major point are good places to check out this week. Good current will be the helping factor here. Any place you find current the bass are sure to be close by.
