  • Fish Scattering at Lake Sinclair

Bass fishing is good. Most of the shad have started moving back in the creeks and pockets and the bass are following. Most days you can catch them shallow all day with reaction baits. A shad colored Lucky Craft Sammy and a pearl Zoom Super Fluke have been really good in the creeks down the lake where the water is a little clearer. Fish anything that looks good as the fish scatter out in the fall. Any wood cover or grass bed could be holding fish no matter how shallow it is. A 1/4ounce Excalibur lipless crank bait has been catching fish on secondary points and in the backs of creeks and pockets that have stumps and brush. On post front days when the bite gets tough, slow down and throw a Buckeye Spot Remover shaky head with a green pumpkin Zoom Trick Worm in the deeper brush piles in the creeks. Matt has guide trips still available in October. Give me a call to book a trip for some fun fishing.
