    BASS
Cast a Strike King Red Eye Shad or spinner bait through shallow flats with stumps or some other type of structure. Suspending jerk baits are working well on shallow ledges and points. Strike King Strike Shad in a Citrus color is working well in main lake coves. As far as fishing below the dam, I have had a lot of luck on small crankbaits and grubs. Strike King series 3 crankbaits and the Flat Shad are good baits to throw along the banks.

    White bass
Fish gravel banks in the Shiloh area for white bass with a whit grub or small crankbait. White bass should be fairly easy to catch throughout the spring.
    Stripers
You will catch a few stripers while fishing for other species right now. I would not go one a striper fishing trip until March if that’s all I wanted to catch but if you just like to catch fish you might catch a few while bass fishing.

    Sauger
I usually fish with a jig throughout February and March. If you can catch sauger on plastic trailer attached to your main hook of your jig it will be a lot easier than messing with minnows, but sometimes live bait will out perform the artificial minnow.
