LAKE RUSSELL IS FULL, CLEAR & 52 DEGREES
Bass fishing is fair and the bass are moving out of the main lake up into the creeks and rivers. Slow rolling a 1/2 ounce Strike King spinnerbait is working and some better fish are is biting Husky Jerks, Glass Shad Raps and Bandit crank baits. There are anglers fishing the entire lake and they are working the structure on main lake points and secondary points. The Carolina rigs on the channel ridges and any area where the bottom makes a sharp drop into deeper water is a good pattern. The best strikes are occurring somewhere between three to ten feet of water. Ask Ken for a sample of the BASS FISHING LAKE RUSSELL book @ [email protected]
