Bass fishing is good. Water clarity varies from stained in certain areas to clear on the lower end of the lake. High water coupled with warm, sunny days equal’s fantastic fishing. Spinnerbaits in either white or white/chart with willow blades have been working around flooded grass. In addition, Texas rigged lizards are producing some nice fish in both quantity and quality. Fishing shallow grass seems to be the best bet. Use the Texas rigged 8 inch zoom lizard around flooded grass. As the water continues to clear up coupled with bright, shiny days a slower presentation will be helpful. As always, Cowikee creek is one of the best producing areas on the lake.
