Bass fishing is very good. The grass is starting to grow and the bass are using these mats as a staging point before moving to the beds. With some of the bass headed shallow o bed, soma anglers are still searching the edges of the grass to the bigger fish. Husky Jerks and Strike King spinnerbaits are the baits of choice. Some anglers are still catching fish on Rapala Shad Raps and Rapala DT10 in shad and baby bass patterns. These baits will work all during the spawn and post spawn.
