LAKE GEORGE IS DOWN 2.1 FEET, HIGH 60 DEGREES
Bass fishing is good and the recent rains have stained the upper end and river portion of the lake making the spinnerbait and jib bite better. In the clearer water fish are after flukes and Carolina rigs on structure in the 4 to 6 foot range such as secondary points. The shallow water patterns include flipping, Texas rigging with trick worms and they are getting plenty of action. There will be a top water bite start to appear. Buzz baits and Pop R’s are two local favorites. Concentrate on Cowikee Creek and fish the shallow cover particularly, shallow grass.
