As the basketball saying goes this past week was “nothing but net,” as the great times continued on Guntersville and the good news is there is plenty more to come. The good times are here and catching fish is relatively easy. It’s just amazing to me with the number of tournaments, and just plain fisherman on the lake day in and day out the lake keeps producing day after day; but that is the greatness of Guntersville there is just no other place like it.




If there was a negative this past week it could be said that the size was down some as we are working our way through the spawn and the small fish are very aggressive. The numbers were up and will continue to be that way until we get into the extreme heat of summer time fishing. Most of the week our numbers came on Texas rigged Missile Bait D-Bombs, Tight-Line jigs and SPRO crank baits in 3 to 9 feet of water. Your choice of baits was easy and finding them was also.
