LAKE SINCLAIR IS FULL, 68 DEGREES, MUDDY UP RIVER, MAIN LAKE STAINED
Bass fishing is great. The majority of the bass seem to be spawning but some pre spawn and post spawn fish can be found. Soft plastic baits fished slowly in the spawning pockets have been best. We have been catching a lot of good fish off of stumps and dock walkways in 3 5 feet in the back half of the spawning pockets. Texas rigged Zoom lizards and weightless trick worms have been the most consistent when targeting these spawning fish around the stumps. Dark colors will work best as the water is still really stained in most areas of the lake. Pre spawn and post spawn fish can still be caught in these same spawning pockets by covering a lot water with a chartreuse Tru Trac Lures spinnerbait or by flipping a Buckeye Lures mop jig around the dock posts on the sides of the pockets. This is the best time of year to catch that fish of a lifetime! Guide trips are booking up fast, so give me a call to book your trip.
