Here's hoping you and your Family had as nice a Memorial Day Weekend as we did! In addition to the traditional Backyard Cookout on Monday Evening, Ranger Baseball Games to watch over the Weekend, a visit with some of the Grandkids, some much needed rain, we managed to get in a few fishing trips!!! Adam and I conducted twelve (12) trips over the week leading up to and including Memorial Day, and we're HAPPY to say that EVERY Customer went home with as much fish as they wanted. Most trips we put limits of White Bass in the ice chest and on a few, we did some Crappie fishing too. (The enclosed picture of the Lowrys from the Corsicana area was from Thursday's trip when the Crappie and White Bass filled the box!)



The White Bass action is "As Good As It Gets" with an early morning Rat-L-Trap or Lil George bite in the shallow shoreline water, and then we move to the Main Lake where RSR Slabs ( www.rsrlures.com ) are the key to catching them the remainder of the day. Areas like Pelican Island and the Old Hwy 287 Roadbed have held fish all week long! The Crappie have finished their spawn and are now on Brush Piles and Bridge Columns in the 15'-20' water depths. Small minnows or Jigs will normally get you a few of these tasty fish!

Our June calendar is filling quickly as we're completely booked until the week of June 9th. If you can fish on a Weekday, give us a call and we can get you on the Lake during the middle and latter part of June. July is wide open and this is when the always exciting Top Water bite starts in! Schools about out, the Kids need some Outdoor Activity time and what better than a Gone Fishin' Summer Fishing Trip!
