Fishing has been pretty good but its all about timing you may fish a school of bass and go back later they will be gone no where to be found then come back in a 1/2 hour they will be there
and your not sitting on them all day catching them its like catch 3 or 4 then nothing for a little while then another 3 or 4 so bouncing around is a big thing right now and with the schooling fish up shallow a good thing some are bass some are not and we did get a couple of bigger ones on top the majority of them are smaller but still fun, couple of ways to catch the schooling bass are a Missile Baits Shockwave on a 3/8 belly weight Gamakatsu hook or a SPRO Aruku Shad jr in shard colors and for the deep schools of bass its 4x4 Football Jigs, Big worms, and Crankbaits.I did fish in a tournament on Saturday the 14th and used the new 4x4 jig Guntersville color with a new head design and I'm pretty impressed with the comboOn September 6th will be the 3rd annual SPRO FROG Tournament on Lake Guntersville. We are taking early sign ups with you picking your own Flight so you pick if you want to be one of the 1st ones out or one of the last ones in! With $20,000 for 1st place its gonna be a Big Bass Bonanza! For more info go to http://sprofishingtournament.webs.com
