Around the full moon we were dealing with some really dirty water which was making finding fish a tough task. Now that the water is cleaning up the Trout bite has been quite good. Cumberland Beach around the first of the incoming tide has been phenomenal!
Shark fishing behind the shrimp boats has also been very good and the Pogies are plentiful. Tarpon have also been seen, although still not in large numbers or predictable.
Tripletail fishing has been on again, off again but when it’s on… it’s ON! We’ve been catching some very nice fish over the last week as the “peanut / trash can lid” ratio has been excellent.
