Striper fishing is the slowest it has been all year with many people really struggling to put fish in the boat consistently. This will change soon as the striper spawn is over and schools of fish start showing back up. We have been doing best on planer boards fished from the surface to 25 ft deep on the main lake. Fish are in the creeks also but more
spotty in numbers.
The smallmouth on the other hand has drastically improved. We are catching several
fishing alewife herring on planer boards close to the bank. Crappie fishing has slowed some do to the amount of cover in the water which has spread out the fish.
Good luck and god bless.
