Inshore Fishing Reports
Believe it or not but the spotted sea trout has been pretty good in some places and not so good in others. The bottom line is location, location, and location!
Here’s a picture of Captain Kevin Rose of Miss Judy Charters with a fish full of trout…and they were pretty ones too…
So with that being said “A great fall bite is possible, if you just know where to look!” Thanks Captain Kevin for showing us the way!
Stanley DeVegter and David Ranew had one heck of an inshore fish catching day!
Stanley DeVegter and David Ranew took a short boat ride to the fish. The boat ride was to South Carolina and the fish they caught were spotted sea trout. According to this fishing report they caught 40 and ended up keeping 17, in my book is 34 fillets or 68 halves or 136 pieces. Count it anyway you wish, no matter what, it’s a lot of fish! What did they use for bait? Traditional trout floats and popping corks with live shrimp and then they changed up to Bass Assassin Lures! Did they catch anything else other than trout? Other than the catching 40 trout, releasing 23 trout, keeping 17, they caught one Sheepshead and one jack Crevalle. All I can say now is "Thanks for sending us this fish catching report and keep them coming!
