Without question the fishing is turning more like the fall bite we have been accustomed to on Lake Guntersville; from top water to schooling it is more prevalent than ever. The key is to find the schooling activity or be able to hear the bream sucking bugs off the top of the mats. When you found either one of these keys you had a blast and fishing turned to catching with great results.

As always is the case it’s not everywhere but when you did the fun begun and your day changes drastically from searching to catching. The SPRO frog was a big key part of the picture and having 35 or more blow ups was probable. In the schooling with we fished SPRO Aruka Shad rattle baits, Punisher spinner baits and Missile Bait Shock wave swim baits.
