This past week on the water was absolutely terrific, the fish were in all three phases of the spring fishing. We caught spawning fish, pre-spawn fish and post spawn fish and when that happens no matter what you do you are successful. The fishing was the best it has been for most of the year, with a lot of activity.

The lure selection was easy, because you could fish slow with a Missile bait twin tale worm or Tight-Line jig, or you could catch fish on more of a post spawn bait like Punisher spinner baits or Secret Weapon and or Assassinator buzz baits! It has certainly been a great April and May should be as good; you should see more post spawn activity especially as we get into mid May.

My customers had great catches, good numbers, pretty good size and maintained consistent activity on the water for at least 75% of the day. Come fish with me I have days available to fish with you.
