The wonderful rains continued this past week, water levels have continued to rise and Richland Chambers Lake is now down about six and a half feet! This is much better than the eleven foot deficit we had just a few weeks ago! Adam and I have called off many of our trips recently as the fishing has been really tough and the weather conditions not ideal. But things are looking up! Late last week, one of my fellow Guides David Bristow and I did a little scouting and found some Catfish that were willing to make the ultimate sacrifice and jumped on our hook and into the frying pan!



After the Weekend rains we experienced, we're hoping the Lake settles quickly and we see the real beginning of the Spring Bite that RC is known for. Water temperatures have moved into the low 60's and we should see the White Bass returning to the Main Lake any day now. Reports have come in from several bank fishermen that the Whites are being caught wayyyyy up the Creeks as they do their spawn. Reports of a few Crappie being caught in the shallows are also coming in and the Catfish appear to be ready to bite again after all the fresh water has settled. In other words, IT'S TIME TO FISH!!!



This next week we have a boat open a couple of Weekdays and in April, we have a number of Weekdays we need to fill. Spring is here, the fish will be hungry and we'd love to have you on board with us! Give us a call and Let's Go Catchin'!
