Bass fishing is fair. The water is clear with some stain in the rivers after heavy rains. We are also on the full moon and this means the fish feed at night. Fish deep structure in or near the main lake, or seek cooler water up the rivers. Target points, bluffs, hump’s 12 feet to 15 feet deep in brush, bridge pilings, and deep docks. Put to use shakey heads, heavy compact jigs, and deep running crank baits through the day. Hot weather has many fish hunkered down in deep water, suspended, or roaming with shad in open water. Early in the day, throw a Rico or other top water bait on the deep sea walls or at open water opportunities.
