The weeks keep getting better, the bass are responding like no other time this year and we are having a blast everyday on the water. The difference this year is the fact that we still have pre-spawn, spawn and post spawn fish allowing you to fish many different patters to find fish, with all of them working. Generally this time of year, approaching mid May the post spawn bite is the only pattern we would be able to find; not so this year and as I have said many times the lake appears to be about 3 weeks behind the past.

The good news is with so many patterns to find fish on we were able to catch fish on multiple presentations from the spinner bait bite to a deep running crank bait; or fishing slow with Missile bait D-Stroyers D-Bombs or Tight Line football head jigs. There is also some top water action especially the late evening time frame, making the last four hours of the day lots of fun.



We picked up in water temperature this past week, as well as the heat is hitting the mid day time frame; but fishing is great and the good times are here. Come fish with me no one will treat you better!
