We were able to get all our trips in except for one day last week and that's pretty amazing since we dealt with an 80% Rain Forecast almost everyday and some pretty strong Winds on a couple of days! We're fortunate that the rain normally occurs in the Afternoon and Evening and we're off the Lake with fish cleaned well before then. This next week looks much better with only 20% chances of rain until the end of the week and then it's only around 40% on Friday and Saturday! On a very positive note, the Lake is absolutely full and the fish are biting well! As you can see from the pictures, our Customers went home with plenty of fish fry material!



We're catching White Bass just about all over the Lake...Pelican Island, Windsock Point, Old Hwy 287 Roadbed, etc. We are having to catch a lot of fish to get to a full box of Keepers as many of the Whites are in the 9" range and are throwbacks. They will be Keepers next year! That's OK though as the fish population appears to be in good shape and it never hurts to catch 100 fish or more on an outing! Almost all our fish are coming on Silver or Chartruse Slabs from www.rsrlures.com .



It's definitely time to plan that SUMMER FISHING TRIP as School is nearing an end and the Kids will need their Summer Fishing Fix!
