CLARKS HILL IS FULL, CLEAR & MID 80’s

Bass fishing is good and both sizes of the pearl white Flukes are hot baits all day. Both the spots and a few nice largemouth with a line side mixed in will keep you busy almost all day. In the evening stay on the on points and shoal markers. If they won't hit top water use the fluke, jerk bait, or Sebile Magic Swimmer. Never fish this lake without a Carolina rig with a Zoom green pumpkin lizard. A good top water bite is still present during the first part of the morning. The Rapala DT16 in shad patterns are catching good fish out in the deeper water stumps and humps. The bass can get finicky during the heat of the day and color selection will play an important role on catching those deep water Bass. Make long casts and use a slow retrieve while using the crank baits. Trick worms and Flukes on the rip rap are working on and off all during the day and especially in the mornings. Patience will be the key factor along with not staying in an area or on one pattern too long this week.
