LAKE SINCLAIR IS FULL, 88 DEGREES AND STAINED
Bass fishing is decent with the best bite coming in the early morning. Start with top water baits and medium diving crank baits around rip rap and grass beds in the little river arm of the lake. A good top water bait right now is a bream colored prop bait made by Kip Carter. You can order some of these baits by emailing Kip at [email protected]. There should be some bream on bed as we are near a full moon. This prop bait will catch a good fish when you find the spawning bream. Keep an eye out for mayflies also as they tend to hatch every few days throughout the summer months. A top water bait is the bait of choice around the mayflies also. Another consistent pattern right now is to fish soft plastics on the deeper main lake docks down the lake. These deeper docks are even better if they have brush piles around them. A light shaky head with a green pumpkin Zman Finesse worm will get numerous bites around these docks and brush piles. Contact Kip at [email protected] to order a few of these incredible baits.
