Flamingo has been good for snook, sea trout, sharks, tripletail, redfish, jacks, ladyfish and snapper and the fishing in Flamingo has been steady allday.
Offshorefishing offshore of Miami has been good at times especially if you're lookingfor blackfin tuna and dolphins.

Freshwaterfishing has been outstanding due to our lack of a rainy season. I have beenfishing the Conservation Areas that have canals and catching largemouth bass tofive pounds plus plenty of panfish, gars and a few pickerel. All of the catchesare being made with Rapala floating minnows, Pop R's and soft plastics.
Irecently was introduced to SoftScience shoes and have been wearing a paircalled Fins on my boat during charters. I can't say enough good things aboutthese shoes. Comfortable all day, water drains out of them faster than it comesin, grips my feet like they are part of me and they look great as well!

Miami Fishing Forecast:
Spring is here and the fishing in South Florida is about to explode. With water temperatures rising sea trout and snook will start their spawning seasons. Bigger fish and bigger numbers of fish! Spanish mackerel, bluefish and kingfish are heading north for the summer. As they pass the Miami area they always provide a months' worth of action. Big jack crevalles will be chasing baitfish schools in North Bay and big tarpon will be stealing baits intended for other fish. Offshore we will see kingfish and Spanish mackerel, bonitos, sailfish, dolphins and blackfin tuna feeding right alongside each other. In Flamingo in Everglades National Park we will see the return of all of the migratory birds as they fill the park and make unbelievable sunrise pictures. Fishing for snook, redfish, sheepshead, blackdrum, snapper, sea trout, jacks ladyfish, sharks, tripletail, cobia and more will be as e exciting light tackle fishing as one could wish for. When the freshwater levels drop in the Everglades Conservation areas the largemouth bass stack up in the canal systems providing 100 fish days.
