With the 4th of July weekend upon us, let’s all bless the freedom we have to fish, and or do whatever we wish, not many countries have our freedom and we should all be proud to be Americans. With that freedom to fish I did just that this past week and was pleased with most the days I was on the water.


There is certainly a great number of fish being caught and some good size seen by many, the bad news we got ran off the lake some with lightning but hay, it cooled the water, made it comfortable to be out there and the fish responded.


I believe the top water bite showed some great results this past week with buzz baits being the bait of choice for many.
