Here's hoping you had a GREAT 4th of July Holiday and were able to enjoy some outdoor activities, family and friends! I was on the Lake for seven trips last week and Adam was able to fish a couple of trips. The White Bass action was good from Monday thru Friday with most trips averaging a 40 to 50 fish box of Whites and a few small Hybrids. On Saturday, the action slowed for my trip so we changed to Catfish and my twosome put a 50 fish box of Catfish together in about two hours! Adam stayed with the White Bass and ended the day with a respectable 40 fish box!



We're finding the White Bass are not in their normal locations and when you do find them, the fish are "moving fast". You'll catch a few and then the school disappears and you have to use your electronics to find them again. Check out Main Lake Points in water depths around 15' to 20' that the baitfish are located on. The Top Water action hasn't kicked in gear yet, so we're catching all our fish on RSR 1 oz. Slabs. ( www.rsrlures.com ) The Catfish Bite is just short of awesome as the little Blues are stacked up on Points and Humps in 20' water. Saturday's 50 fish catch consisted of 49 Blues and 1 Channel Cat with all being about 12" to 15" Eater fish. We're catching them on Danny Kings Punch Bait.
