LAKE GEORGE IS FULL, CLEAR & LOW 90’S

Bass fishing is fair. But the fishing remains tough in the heat of the day. Fish the deep ledges that top out in 18 to 22 feet with lots of standing timber. Most of the fish are suspending in the standing timber. Use the Lowrance Structure Scan and Down Scan technology and you can see the fish and count them. Use the Texas rig, a 1/2 ounce Florida Gambler weight to peg the sinker on the Texas rigged worm and use green pumpkin or plum colors. When the Corps generates current, fish by cranking on shallower ledges which are generally 8 to 12 feet on top. Use the Rapala DT 10 and Fat Free Shad baits are good deep runners.
