LAKE SEMINOLE IS DOWN 1 FOOT, SLIGHT STAIN & MID 80’S

Bass fishing is fair but the bite it still fairly tough. The fish are still mostly holding in deep water underneath big schools of shad. The best places to fish are near deep main lake ledges that have grass present. A Spro Little John DD in Nasty Shad is a good bait to fish these areas. Fish it on 12 pound Sunline FC Sniper Fluorocarbon so that you can get it down deep. Once you find fish on these spots, you can slow down and catch them on a Carolina Rigged 6" Big Bite Baits Finesse Worm in Tilapia. The other technique that works this time of year is to fish a jerk bait on grass points at the mouth of the rivers. The Spro McStick 95 in Chrome Olive is an awesome jerk bait because it has tremendous action and it does not completely suspend when fished on light line, it floats up very slowly like no other jerk bait on the market. And best of all, this bait just flat out catches bass. If you haven't fish a Spro McStick on Seminole, it is worth a shot because it really works, especially when the bite is tough like it is right now.
