It's that time of the year when the Lake Activity (Skiing, Tubing, Swimming & Fishing) slows almost to a halt as the warm temperatures and other activities like School and ball games keep folks from enjoying a day on the Lake. I fished only three days this past week and all were productive and enjoyable as the mornings were almost Fall like with a crisp cool breeze. Each trip we were off the Lake with a box full of fish by 11AM. It won't be long till Fall does arrive and we ENJOY MY FAVORITE SEASON OF THE YEAR!!!

A few reports of White Bass and Crappie being caught did come in last week, but we continued to fish for the easy to catch and fast biting Catfish! Each trip was enjoyable but Saturday's Trips with Dads, Granddads and Kiddos were especially fun as there was a lot of hooping and hollering all morning long! Adam's crew was with regulars Bubba Hackett and Family including 4 year old Tyler, and my Crew was with two Dads and 10 year old Liberty and Ty. We cleaned around a 100 Eater Size Blues and Channel Cats that morning! All were caught on Danny King's Punch Bait in the Timbered area of Crab Creek in about 10' of water.

As we head into LABOR DAY WEEKEND, we still have a boat open on Monday, September 7th and then lots of Weekday openings during the month of September.
