Bass fishing is fair. Look on the flats for fish schooling. Top water chuggers and spinnerbaits will take some fish. Finding the bait fish is the biggest factor in finding fish. Fish the blow downs and pick up a fish here and there. When you find a good sized school, buzz baits and spinnerbaits will work. The ledges are hit or miss. As always, if the Corps starts to generate it's a whole different story. The fish get active and will chase just about anything. Some areas in the upper end have stained a bit. The fish are pretty much scattered out from 3 to 20 feet, so it's a matter of finding a pattern to fit your style of fishing, from chuggers on top to Mann's 20+'s on ledges and then spinnerbait in brush piles.
