JACKSON LAKE IS DOWN 1.3 FEET, STAINED & MID 60’S
Bass fishing is fair. At the dam, fish the steep banks with jigs and slow moving dark colored u tale worms. White spinnerbaits are catching a few when thrown right up next to the bank and slow rolling it back. Try the Sebile Swimmers also in the shad pattern and use the slow sinkers. Up the rivers, spinnerbaits and small Rat L Traps cast on the banks and utilizing a slow retrieve will work. Black or any dark color 3/8 ounce jigs worked close to cover is also producing a few good bites. Some or most of the bass are spots and small. Stay with the jig and the Carolina rigs and fish the heavy cover in shallow water slowly.
