The weekly rains and cold temps kept us off the Lake the Weekend after Thanksgiving and has Richland Chambers Lake very stained on the Main Lake and downright muddy up the Creeks. Water temperature is in the low 60's and will continue to chill down as we receive more and more Cold Fronts. Fishing for the White Bass, Hybrid Stripers and Crappie has been almost non-existent with all the fresh water but.......
Whether it's quantity or quality you want on a fishing trip, it's hard to beat Catfishing on Richland Chambers this time of year! The Channel Cats normally provide all the action you want and on almost every trip, someone hooks into a Big Blue! Seems that the cooler the temperatures, the better the bite. Danny King's Punch Bait on a #4 Treble Hook fished in water depths ranging from 10'-20' has been the key to success. We're fishing timbered areas and almost always near a drop off or creek channel.
WE HAVE PLENTY OF WEEKDAY OPENINGS AND EVEN A COUPLE OF SATURDAY OPENINGS IN DECEMBER! If you're looking for a different experience this Fall or Winter, give us a call and we'll show you how much FUN hooking into a big ol' Whisker Fish can be! And lastly, if a Christmas Gift Certificate is needed for a loved one, give us a call and we can fix you up!
