LAKE GEORGE IS FULL, HIGH 60’S

Bass fishing is fair. The shallow flooded grass in the creeks has a few fish shallow afternoons and jigs and Senko’s have been fair. Find the bait fish lake wide. Try flipping jigs in brush piles and flooded cover and some fish are holding on the river ledges. But the patterns have been finicky. The downside of all the rain is there a lot of run off so expect some muddy water to be flowing in. Visibility is poor lake wide at less than a foot in the areas the mud line hasn't reached. The good side is that the grass is flooded giving the bait fish some warmth and security. And the bass know they are there. The flats around Rat L Traps and hair jigs are good combinations. If the wind is blowing on the bridges, be sure to run a medium bright crank bait right up on the rocks. Spinnerbaits will be the prime baits in the flooded shoreline grass after the sun warms the water. Jigs seem to be the best bet for a bigger bite.
