Spring Like weather with 50 degree mornings and 80 degree afternoons in December made for a pleasant week on RC as we fished Tuesday, Thursday,Friday and Saturday. Guess the fish were a bit confused as the more aggressive Catfish bite we have been experiencing gave way to a slower bite. We had to fish hard each outing to get a 30 to 45 fish box of Keepers. That's OK though as the nice mild weather made it seem like an April Outing as we enjoyed the company of Old Friends and New Customers! All went home with plenty of fish filets!

The forecast for the days leading up to Christmas looks a little different with the rain on Sunday and then Clear Skies, Seasonal Temperatures in the 60's and REALLY NICE DAYS to catch some more fish! We continue to catch Catfish over our "Baited Holes" near the Marina area. Most fish are being caught in 15'-20' water depths and we continue to catch them on Danny King's Punch Bait. On Friday and Saturday, we never saw another boat on the Lake so we have little to report about the White Bass or Hybrid Stripers, but the guess is that the bite is still slow with all the fresh water and lake condition.

We have one boat open most days between now and Christmas if you'd like to enjoy some time on the water. Also, it's not too late to get a Christmas Gift Certificate in the mail to you for that Angler in the family. Hope you're having a Great Holiday period and we see you soon!
