LAKE SEMINOLE IS DOWN .6 FEET MUDDY & MID 50’S

Bass fishing is slow. Fish the ditches and depressions on the main lake flats with grass present. A good place to start is on the Flint River side of the Oil Well Flats which is located from the Firebreak to Luther's Corner. A lip less crank bait is the best bet for locating and catching fish in these areas and use the Mudbug Red or Red Crawfish. If you find fish in these areas, there is likely to be a large concentration of them. If the lip less crank bait bite slows down, switch to a Texas Rig and work these same areas slowly. Use a Big Bite Baits Pro Lizard in Black with Blue Tail or a 4" BioBait Kriet Kreature in June bug. Try the 3/8 ounce Tru Tungsten Sinker and a 5/0 Offset Shank Gamakatsu Hook. The 3/8 ounce might seem a little heavy, but it works well because you maintain contact with the bottom and you get a better feel on those windy days.
