Weiss is rising fast and getting muddy from the overnight rain on 2/23-2/34.

Bass fishing is fair and the cold front has shut down the Largemouth, The spotted bass are still biting fair in the Chattooga River and Little river, drop shot rigs, Carolina rigs and Alabama rigs are catching fish. Do not be afraid to fish very shallow. The New Lowrance 3D Technology can shoot all the way to the bank and we can see these shallow fish. Look for some good Largemouth to turn on with this warming trend coming in this weekend.

Crappie fishing is awesome and they are being caught long line trolling with Jiffy jigs in colors JJ13, JJ17, JJ20, JJ24 in Little River, Little Spring Creek and the cove's at Riverside Camp Ground. Crappie are also being caught on a float and fly technique, in these same locations. Crappie are also being caught around deeper docks tight lining jigs.
