Fishing has come a long ways the water is warming the bass are searching for spawning grounds and at some point during the day the bite turns on. Is it what we all expect from Guntersville, “no” not at all but there is for sure a new level of a good day as a busy tournament weekend just does not make fishing easy, but there is a key to getting bites. We caught fish today on missile bait D-Bombs, SPRO rattle baits and SPRO Square bill crank baits. We also fished Tight-Line football jigs and Picasso Chatter baits.



After 3 months of recovery from some very serious neuro surgery I got back on the water with customers, not only was the fishing great the people great but for me it was a mile stone and a feeling of accomplishment to get back. You just don’t know how much you miss what you have until it’s taken away; and for me this was my day to start back! This month I will be careful taking it slow and careful scheduling just a few trips a week, I am still under a doctor’s care doing vestibular rehab but progressing.
