LAKE GEORGE IS FULL, 60’S

Bass fishing is good. Expect the spawn to take off in a week with the water level stabilizing and temperatures running rising daily. There are big groups of fish moving shallow ready to bed. A lot of the bigger fish are a bit deeper in 4 to 6 feet of water. There are a lot of buck bass up shallow and the bigger fish are still out cruising. Use a 3/8 ounce Spro spinner bait in white or white/chart and fish along the grass edges. Slow roll the bait and be ready to set the hook. After mid day, run a buzz bait across the points and also hit any wood. Use a 3/8 ounce Enticer buzz bait and use one in all white with a silver blade and also use an all back bait too. Small crank baits like the Shad Raps will also catch some good fish. Cover a lot of water as these fish are on the move. If it is a bright day these fish are moving under the docks or around cover so work a worm or a jig pig in these areas.
