We did manage to get in both our trips on Friday and Saturday. We try and "tell it like it is" and it was tough! The post front conditions with Blue Bird Skies, light breeze and high barometric pressure make for a NICE PICNIC but also made for two slow days of CATCHIN'! We'll try and forget about Friday but Saturday was a little better as we found a huge school of small Hybrids and some White Bass off the 309 Flats. We stayed on these fish for well over an hour and a half oftentimes catching two fish at a time! (See Pic) We use a small Crappie Jig tied about eighteen inches above a RSR Slab and you can maximize your catching when you find a big school of Whites or Hybrids! We're hoping these large Schools of fish will start appearing with more regularity over the next few days as the spawn that is now happening in the flowing creeks should be nearing an end.
Adam and I have WEEKDAY OPENINGS in April and May, but our Weekends are booked until the May 28th Memorial Day Weekend. We would love to get you into some Spring Fishing on Richland Chambers so give us a call and Let's Go Catchin'!
