The White Bass are being found on all the RC locations you expect to find them in the late Spring. Check out the Old Hwy 287 Roadbed and the Long Arm Branch Point in water depths from 15' to 25' . We continue to use 1 oz. RSR Silver Slabs ( www.rsrlures.com ) with a small Crappie Jig tied about 18" above the Slab. This way you catch two at a time when the fast moving Schools come through your area. Lots of 15" Hybrid Stripers are in with the White Bass. Be sure and know the difference between the two as the small Hybrids have to be released.
The Blue Catfish are often in the same areas as the White Bass eating the Shad that the Whites are feeding on. Fresh Shad or Cut Bait fished on the bottom will often get you some nice filets for Supper.
Our June calendar is pretty full but we do have some dates we'd love to fill and even a couple of Saturday openings in the next few weeks. We have one boat open on Saturday, June 18 and both boats open on Saturday, July 2nd. We also have the following June Weekdays open ...20,21,22,27,28 & 29.
